Michael joined Sanford J. Greenburger Associates in 2009 after almost a decade in publishing. While he’s open to just about anything smart and engaging, he focuses on commercial non-fiction, particularly memoir, biography, music, health, sports, and humor. On the fiction side, he’s always on the lookout for fun, well-crafted thrillers and fantasy. He’s also seeking graphic novels by creators who truly understand the medium.
Michael’s client list over the years has included a variety of household names such as the inimitable Yogi Berra, musician/poet Billy Corgan, rock icon Peter Criss, basketball coaching great Rick Pitino, rap legend Prodigy, and NBA Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson. Other bestselling and critically acclaimed authors Michael has represented include Alisa Bowman, Stephen Davis, Steve Eubanks, Tony Fletcher, Josh Frank, Ben Mezrich, David Ritz, and Larry “Ratso” Sloman. Overall, Michael has represented or co-represented 12 New York Times bestsellers.
