Matt Bialer

Matt has been in the publishing community for over twenty years (including 14 years in the book division of the William Morris Agency).  Matt represents thrillers, science fiction, fantasy, mysteries as well as a select group of literary writers. He represents many veteran authors but is also willing to roll up his sleeves and work with a first time author. He also loves smart narrative nonfiction including books about current events, popular culture, biography, history, music, race, and sports.

Among his well known projects are the OTHERLAND and SHADOWMARCH series by Tad Williams, the PEOPLE series by W. Michael Gear and Kathleen O'Neal Gear, HOOD by Stephen R. Lawhead, THE ICE MAN:  CONFESSIONS OF A MAFIA CONTRACT KILLER by Philip Carlo, KVOTHE THE BLOODLESS by Patrick Rothfuss, THE GREEDY BASTARD DIARY: A Comic Tour of America by Eric Idle, THE FIFTH SORCERESS by Robert Newcomb, TRUANCY by Isamu Fukui and THE BULLET COLLECTION by Patricia Safarian Ward.  Some projects that Matt represented in the past were the DUNE prequels by Kevin J. Anderson and Brian Herbert, LAST MAN DOWN by Richard Picciotto and Daniel Paisner and Sammy Sosa's autobiography.
