Jessica Brockmole is the author of Letters from Skye (Ballantine, summer 2013), a historical novel spanning two continents and two world wars. Letters from Skye is an atmospheric debut novel that captures the indelible ways that people fall in love, and celebrates the power of the written word to stir the heart.
Jessica is now at work on her second novel, a love story set before and during World War I in France and Scotland; it will be published by Ballantine in the summer of 2014.
Jessica spent several years living in Scotland, where she plotted her first novel on a long drive from the Isle of Skye to Edinburgh. She now lives in Indiana with her husband and two children.
